new club room this week
called the Auditorium...

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s
inside for all the upgraded
Music Club members!

Where Is the Auditorium?

When you enter YY’s Music Club building, there is
a new down arrow in the club lobby.

It takes you to a new hallway with two Auditorium rooms:
The Acorn Concert Hall and the Maple Leaf Practice Hall.

How Do I Get into the Auditorium?

Just click an Auditorium to enter it, but...
Only upgraded Music Club members can enter the Auditorium.

Upgraded members will see this screen if nobody
is meeting at that time.

YY will announce Auditorium meeting times in the club’s
News device, so check it often to know when to meet.

What’s Inside the Auditorium?

Inside the Auditorium, you will meet with a real-life teacher!
The two of you can even speak to each other using a microphone!

You won’t be alone either! There will be lots of
others seated too, ready to learn more with you...

How Will We Learn in the Auditorium?

You can watch everything that the online teacher does while
they speak to you! There are also fun activities, like creating
your own music, and sharing moments where everyone can
see everyone else’s good work!

If you have a question or something to say, you can
even raise your hand and the teacher will bring you
on stage to speak to the group!

How Can I Be a Part of the Auditorium?

It’s easy!

Celebrities usually visit Woogi World once a
week. Here are some helpful tips on how to
spot a celebrity when they show for a visit...

When Do Celebrities Visit?

In every newspaper issue of Woogi World Weekly, the Events
page will tell you which celebrities are planning to visit during
the week and the exact day and time that they are visiting!

All celebrity visits are shown in WST (Woogi Standard Time).
You can use the clock at the bottom of your Woogi World
screen to always plan to be online for their visits!

Where Do Celebrities Visit?

Woogi celebrities always visit International (a.k.a. Wooglantis).

They like International because there are always a lot of
Woogies to visit there at any time of the day!

What If I Miss A Celebrity Visit?

It’s okay if you miss a visit. The celebrity will usually make
another visit during the next week, and you can spend time
with a different celebrity at another day and time too.

And if you want to see lots of celebrities in one place, be sure
to come to Woogi World’s parties, where there are always lots
of Woogi celebrities who come to visit and play games with you!

4. Introduction to Music

At the start of 2011, YY’s Music Club got a lot of new games
and interactive movies as part of the Introduction to Music
program. Learning has never been more fun than with YY!

3. Woogi English

Woogi English showed us a brand new way to learn English,
introduced us to a brand new guru named Storm Starwoog,
and gave us a brand new club building! Not only that, but
anyone who upgrades to Woogi English can record their
own voice and star in Woogi movies!

2. New Woogichievement Levels

New Woogichievements levels were added this year. Everybody
starts as a CaveWoog and can earn new ranks by completing
more Woogichievements. The best part though... each new
rank comes with its own rare Boogi Woogi move!

1. DigiWoog 2.0

The new DigiWoog 2.0 is a tablet device for your Woogi! It holds
all of your music, photos, documents, and videos just like
before, but now has all sorts of apps for you to use on Woogi
World! New apps are coming all the time, making the new DigiWoog one of Dr. Wiggenstein’s best inventions!

It’s Snow Time!

December has brought
some cold weather...

But Woogies are excited
about all the newly fallen
snow on Woogi World!

For a second year in a row, a snow storm has hit
Woogi World, covering the land in snow!

The snow is everywhere... on buildings, on the playground,
even the drinking fountains have frozen over!

Snow Surprises!

The snow is cold, but it’s also very pretty to look at...
Here are some other good things that the snow brings us:

Woogies can have snowball fights again!
If you don’t already have the Snowball Boogi Woogi,
it will be available again this year thanks to the snow!

Every year Woogies get a new Snowman item
for their Wigwam that shows the year when they got it.
Maybe this year’s Snowman will be made from real snow!

You can also look forward to incredible holiday light
displays like this one. The lights will be put up soon
by Woogi World’s very own Light Brigade!

Movie Theater yesterday!

DigiWoog Videos for Sale!
The Movie Theater started selling copies of its movies yesterday!

Now Woogies can buy the movies that they want and watch
them anytime on their DigiWoog using the Videos app!

It’s so easy to do... I’ll show you!

First, go to the Movie Theater. That Woogi English poster
looks so good, I think I’ll see that movie first!

Then go to the theater showing the movie you want to see.
(Woogi English is a Woogi World movie.)

Select the movie that you want to buy. You’ll need to watch the movie at least once at the Movie Theater before you can buy it.

If you’ve already seen the movie before, then the
BUY button will be in blue. Click it to buy the movie.

You’ll be asked to review your movie purchase so that you
don’t accidentally buy a movie that you don’t want.

If you see this screen, then you’ve successfully bought a movie!

Now click on the DigiWoog button on your screen.

The movie you bought is in the Videos app. Click to watch it.

What a great movie! And I can watch it anytime I want!

A DigiWoog 2.0 Preview

You may recognize this
device as your DigiWoog...

But some big changes are
in store for you on Friday!

Introducing the DigiWoog 2.0

Here’s your first look at the new tablet-sized DigiWoog!
Every Woogi will get the new DigiWoog on Friday, October 14.

Music App

The DigiWoog organizes all your saved songs that you’ve
earned or created in YY’s Music Club and other places!

Just click on a song to play it. You can skip to any part of
the song that you like and even pause it if you need to.

And for those of you who helped me on last week’s blog, it turns
out that the secret picture was the new DigiWoog Music app!
It was to help me prepare for the DigiWoog 2.0 announcement.

Images App

All of your saved camera pictures or hand-drawn artwork will
be stored in this handy app! This is a look at Wally Woog’s.

You can view the pictures at this size or you can click the
button with arrows to have it fill your computer screen.

Documents App

This DigiWoog app lets you read saved documents, such as
stories you’ve written or Woogi World Weekly newspapers!

When viewing a newspaper, click on the View button
below it to read the newspaper at its normal size.

Videos App

Sometimes you may not have anything inside a DigiWoog app.
Don’t worry, the device will let you know where to start...

For example, buying videos at the Movie Theater is coming soon!

The Videos app on the DigiWoog organizes all of your saved
videos. They can be purchased videos or ones you’ve made
yourself in clubs like Woogi English!

Click a video to play it. You can watch the video at this size, or
you can click the button with arrows to have it fill your screen.
You can even pause the video and skip to your favorite parts!

WoogiBytes and Stuff

At the top of the DigiWoog is the amount of WoogiBytes it has.
Each time you add a song, image, document, or video to your
DigiWoog, you will use one WoogiByte.

You can get more WoogiBytes on your DigiWoog by purchasing
Woogi club memberships or the Woogi Honors Program.

When you are done with the DigiWoog, you can turn it off and return to Woogi World using the Power button in the corner.

Dr. Wiggenstein tells me that these four DigiWoog
apps are just the beginning...

New DigiWoog apps are coming soon and they will
change the way that you use Woogi World! Cool, huh?

BigWig’s Q&A: Watts Your Strategy?

I don’t always have watts for the things I want,
so what’s a good way to get some watts?

BigWig’s Answer:

To get more watts, the only thing you have to
do is the same thing you’re doing anyway...

BigWig’s (Not So) Secret Strategy Guide

Maybe some of you like to use strategy guides to help you play
games. Well, here’s a guide that I made that you can use every
day on Woogi World. I do and I get lots of watts from it:

1) Write a Service Log for 500 watts!

Do some service for someone else and then write a
Service Log in the Service Nation Station.

2) Write a Reading Log for 500 watts!

Read anything you want and then go to the Woogi Readers
Club building and write a Readers Log about it.

3) Write a Music Practice Log for 500 watts!

Practice your musical skills and then visit YY’s Music Club
and write a Practice Log.

4) Play lots of games in the Arcade!

You can earn watts for every game you play.
You can also get extra watts for higher scores!

5) Watch lots of movies in the Movie Theater!

You can get watts for every movie you watch, even if you’ve
seen them before! You’ll get extra watts the first time you watch
a movie though, so be sure to watch every movie at least once.

6) Find the Wishing Well!

The Wishing Well changes its location and prizes every day,
so it doesn’t always give you watts, but you won’t know if it
has watts until you find it... Get a Hint in the Coupon Center!

7) Vote on polls for 500 watts a piece!

Every poll at the Voting Booth gives you 500 watts when
you vote. Since there’s a new poll every day, you can get
at least 500 extra watts every day just by voting!

8) Save watts and collect interest at the Woogi Vault!

This might be the most important way to get watts every day.
Never forget to visit the Woogi Vault and collect your interest!
If you don’t collect it each day, then it disappears...

Also, it’s a good idea to save up for better bank accounts so
that you can collect more watts each day from interest!

There are lots of fun and easy ways to earn watts on
Woogi World! Those are some of mine...

Extreme Makeover: Wigwam Edition

Hello there, Earth Agents!

Do you need help when it
comes to decorating your
Wigwam basements?

If so, then you can get some
good advice from the pros
in this week’s blog post!

Tip #1: Theme Your Room

There is nothing more boring than an empty Wigwam basement:

One of the best ways to fix this problem is to decorate your
room using a theme. YY is really good at doing this:

This room is themed like a desert.
(Why hasn’t that snowman melted yet?!)

This room is themed to Valentine’s Day.

And since this is YY’s Wigwam, there’s a room
themed for Music lessons, of course!

Tip #2: Pick Good Colors and Wallpaper

The wrong colors can spell disaster for a room, but the
right colors with the right wallpaper can make it perfect!

This Woogi used a plain wallpaper in their Wigwam to create the colors of sky and sand, and by adding lots of green plants to it, they turned their room into a tropical oasis!

Using some creative colors from furniture items, this Woogi’s
Wigwam has a beautiful stream running through the room!

Tip #3: Don’t Leave a Mess

Nobody likes being in a messy room, including your buddies...

If your Wigwam room looks like this:

Then it might be time to clean up!

Professional Wigwam Decorators recommend:
Put some of your stuff into Storage Boxes, sell it to your buddies
in the Flea Market, or trash the items if you no longer want them.

Tip #4: Get Ideas from Others

One of the best ways to get new ideas for how to decorate your Wigwam is to look at your buddies’ rooms when you visit.

Another good place to look is the Home Supply, which has
lots of featured show rooms, including ones from actual Woogies:

At the Home Supply, you can get theme ideas too, like this Japanese themed show room.

Tip #5: Personalize Your Room

Personalizing your Wigwam room not only makes it special
to you, but also makes it unique from everyone else!

Wally Woog’s statue room, which contains statues of all his different party outfits, is a good example of personalizing a room:

Non-celebrities can personalize rooms with statues too, like this black and white room that matches the colors of the statues in it:

This room is bright green (maybe the Woogi’s favorite color?)
and is personalized with their favorite statues and picture frames:

Personalized Woogi items include statues, picture frames,
easels, jukeboxes, televisions, chameleon statues, and more!
(The items are rare, but can be bought, found, traded, or earned)

Tip #6: Make It Fun!

If you’re going to spend time in your Wigwam or invite your
buddies over for a party, then you’ll want your rooms to be fun:

Fill the room with items that move on their own, or ones that are
interactive, like chairs that you can sit in, game boards that you can play, or jukeboxes that you can listen to:

CampWoog Sean’s Wigwam has some really fun slides that Woogies can use and Splash Chairs that are cool to sit in!
(If you sit in a Splash Chair, you might get your bottom wet!)

CampWoog Drew’s cool summer room, has a pool to swim in,
hammocks to rest in, and lots more stuff to see and hear!

Picture frames are coming
to Woogi World!

Something New and Unexpected...

A couple weeks ago, I found this odd item in my Wigwam:

I knew that Dr. Wiggenstein was developing new furniture
called a picture frame, but I had never seen it before.

When I clicked on the picture frame, I saw a photo that I had taken with my Woogi camera and saved to my DigiWoog:

Picture Frames Are Cool!

When I saw him next, Dr. Wiggenstein confirmed that what
I had in my Wigwam basement was a picture frame prototype.
Then he gave me a coupon so that I could show it to you too:

(There’s only one type of picture frame for now, but
Dr. Wiggenstein wants to create different ones later.)

So I took the coupon to the Coupon Center, of course!
When redeeming it, I had lots of things to choose from:

First I chose a photo from my DigiWoog to put in the frame.

Then I checked the “Enable Digital Purchases” checkbox
so that others can buy a copy from me if they want it.

Then I set the photo’s sale price. (I don’t want it to be too expensive or no one will buy it!)

Lastly, I clicked the DONE button and my free picture frame automatically appeared in the first floor of my Wigwam!

Usually my outfit is just a pair of Dr. Gloves...

It’s not a fancy outfit, but it feels very comfortable to wear!

parties and to celebrate holidays on Woogi World.
(Psst... Zombie Wally kind of scares me!)

Sometimes celebrities will play a game called Outfit Hopping.
The celebrity chooses a “theme” and then Woogies try to
dress in that theme before time runs out:

Spying on Things to Come?

Hi there, Earth Agents!

You aren’t going to
believe what I discovered
this week...

Let me tell you the story!

I entered my Wigwam basement to find 2 mysterious items:

I didn’t know what they were or how they got there,
so I called my Woogi spies to help me figure them out.

They looked at the items every which way
and then made these guesses:

Someone Is Selling My Photos?!

When the Woogi spies clicked on the picture frame,
they saw this picture -- from my Woogi camera!

Unfortunately, the spies didn’t have any answers
about HOW my camera photo got into a frame
and WHY there is a price tag on it...

Who Changed My Statue?!

Now this heavy stone block said SHIFT-CLICK ME.
I followed those instructions and it changed into me!

It was so incredible that I couldn’t believe my eyes!
So I changed into my YY disguise and tried it again...

It worked again! My Woogi spies think it could be the
new Chameleon Statue that Dr. Wiggenstein is testing.
I’ll have to ask the doctor about it when I see him!

Yet Another Surprise for Me?!

While they were visiting my Wigwam, my Woogi spies also told
me that other strange things are happening on the planet Woog!
Like the mysterious noises coming from inside the Arcade...

They investigated and were able to take this picture
before being chased away by some guard Xoogies!
It’s a little blurry, but it’s better than nothing.

A Woogi is saying mean things to me,
what should I do?

Some Woogies think it’s funny to make others feel bad. They
are wrong. If a Woogi is saying stuff that you don’t want to see,
then you should MUTE them!

When you MUTE a Woogi, you will never have
to see anything that Woogi says ever again!

To MUTE a Woogi, hold the SHIFT button on your keyboard while you click on the Woogi with your mouse, or you can click on their name in the Chat window. This opens their Woogi details screen:

On the Woogi details screen, click the MUTE WOOGI button
and you can safely ignore the mean Woogi’s words!

A Woogi is saying bad words on Woogi World,
what should I do?

Bad words and other mean language is against the rules on
Woogi World. Any Woogi who uses it will be banned! If you ever
see a Woogi using bad words, then you should REPORT them!

When you REPORT a Woogi, you let me and my assistants know
that a Woogi is not following the rules. We can then remove
the bad Woogi so that they don’t cause any more problems.

To REPORT a Woogi, hold the SHIFT button on your keyboard and click the Woogi (or click on their name in the Chat window) to see the Woogi details screen. Then click the REPORT WOOGI button.

A warning:
The REPORT WOOGI button is not meant for jokes. If you
make a joke report to me, then you could be banned too!

A Woogi is asking for my password and
promising me free stuff if I give it to them,
what should I do?

You should NEVER SHARE YOUR WOOGI PASSWORD with anybody!

Some Woogies are sneaky and they will try to trick you into
sharing your password. Some will offer you free stuff. Others
will promise you rare items. Some Woogies will even claim to
give you Woogi Honors for free... These are all tricks!

These Woogies cannot give you free stuff like Woogi Honors.
They just want your password so that they can steal your watts
and take your outfit or furniture items. Sometimes they will even
pretend to be you and get your Woogi banned from Woogi World!

If a Woogi ever asks you for your password, DO NOT SHARE IT!
You should report the Woogi immediately to me using the
REPORT WOOGI button so that the Woogi can’t trick others!

Alas, Sports Club, We Hardly Knew Ye...

Hi, Earth Agents!

I still can’t believe
it happened...

The Sports Club
building is missing!

Here I am at the Sports Club building just
a few days before it mysteriously disappeared:

Those were much happier times... sigh.

We’re not sure where the building went,
but here’s what we think happened:

Somebody actually stole the Sports Club building
during the night when everyone was asleep!

Woogies never even got to go inside the building and
now they’ll have to wait even longer for it to be rebuilt!
It’s a sad, sad day for sports on Woogi World...

We don’t know who stole the Sports Club yet,
but could it be one of these Woogies?

Wiggiwalker and Mr. Wigwatts were caught meeting in
secret behind the Sports Club in this surveillance video.

Could a Woogi celebrity have had something to do with
the building’s disappearance? I sure hope not!

Maybe it was another club guru who took it? Maybe they
were jealous of having another club open in Woogi World?

Perhaps it was just an ordinary Woogi who wanted to have
the Sports Club all to themself! Or, even worse, maybe it
was a Woogi who was secretly working for Count Weevil!

I need your help, Earth Agents...
