Summer Splash is coming in July!

What is Summer Splash?

Summer Splash is an online summer camp for Woogies
where you can learn and have fun at a forest campground!

 

Unfortunately, the Summer Splash campground flooded during
the winter and is now super muddy! We weren’t even sure if it
would be usable for this year’s Summer Splash, but we think
we can have the campground ready again for everyone in July!

 

Every year there are new things to discover at Summer
Splash and this year will bring a few cool surprises too...

What will be at Summer Splash?

A top secret team of Woogi celebrities is still deciding what will
be at Summer Splash this year to make it the best one ever, but
here are some of the things that you just might see this summer:

An International Expo

The Woogi Nations building is now open to everyone!
You can find it in Woogi World’s bottom right corner.

 

Inside the Woogi Nations building, you can explore the
different countries on Earth and learn more about them.

The door on the left goes to North and South American
countries. The door on the right goes to countries in
Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

 

The first country to join Woogi Nations is Canada.
Each country has their own device called an “embassy.”

 

Inside the embassy you can learn more about the country
and participate in some fun activites.

The Canadian Embassy has 5 fun movies for you to watch!

 

When you watch the movies, you can earn a Woogichievement
and be awarded a free Canadian Flag to put in your Wigwam!

 

Visit Woogi Nations and be an ambassador to the world!
More countries will be joining Woogi Nations soon!

The Woogi Story Contest Winners

of the first ever Woogi Story Contest!

Winners were asked to write a Woogi story based on this idea:
During spring cleaning, a Woogi discovers a magic lamp inside
their Wigwam basement. What happens to them afterwards?

 

I received a lot of entries and ALL of them were really good,
which made it really hard to pick 5 winners for the contest!

That’s why I chose TEN WINNERS instead of five!

and now I’m looking for Earth Agents (like you!)

The Contest Rules

Here are the rules for the Woogi Story Contest:

1. You can only submit one (1) story to the contest.

2. To submit your story, you need to write it as a blog comment.
(Click HERE for instructions on how to write blog comments.)

3. You can submit your story starting today. The last day to
submit your story for the contest is Wednesday, May 16.

4. Be sure to include your Woogi name at the end of your story
(so we can send you a prize if you are one of the winners!).

5. This is what your story needs to be about:

During spring cleaning, a Woogi discovers a magic lamp inside
their Wigwam basement. What happens to them afterwards?

A Contest Q&A with Wally Woog

Maybe you still have some questions about the contest.
Here are answers to some of the questions that are being asked:

Q: Can I put the Woogi celebrities into my story?
A: Of course you can. We’d be flattered if you did!

Q: Can I put myself into my story?
A: That’s another YES!

Q: Will my story appear in the blog comments section?
A: Your story will appear in the blog comments
AFTER the contest is over, but not before.

Q: Who is judging the contest?
A: A secret panel of judges who like good stories.

Q: How long does the story need to be?
A: However long you want it to be, but I’d
recommend 600 words or less.

Q: Can I write anything I want?
A: Yes and no. You are free to use your imagination and write
about anything you want, but it needs to start with a Woogi
finding a magic lamp in their Woogi basement. Also, you cannot
write mean things, use bad words, or share personal information
in the story because that is against the Woogi World rules!

Little Riding Hood is a fantastic book that feels like a game! It’s a
whole lot of fun and the best part is that you can play it over and
over again without getting bored. I think everyone should buy it

free iTunes code to a friend so that both of you can play it... Ha!

How to Write Blog Comments

Writing blog comments is easy and fun. Here’s how to do it:

 

1. At the end of every blog post, there is a Comments link.
Click it to see the comments for that blog post.

 

2. A new page will open in your web browser where
you can read all the comments for that blog post.

 

3. You can write your own blog comment
using the text box on the right hand side.

 

4. You will also need to choose an identity. This is the
name that will show next to your blog comment.
A good identity to use is your Woogi name.

Warning: Do NOT share personal information
or lie about who you are!

 

5. Click the Publish Your Comment
button when you are all done!

Where Is My Blog Comment?

 

While you were writing your comment,
you may have seen this note:

 

It means that I must personally read
your new blog comment before it
can be shown on the blog.

Warning: I will NEVER show
