Woogies Serve the Earth!

Hello, Earth Agents!

The world knew April 22 as Earth Day...

...but on Woogi World, it was

Earth Day of Service!

I loved reading all of your service logs from Earth Day of Service!

It sounds like everyone had a really good experience
and felt really happy to be helping out the Earth!

Wally Woog already shared some of the fantastic service logs we received for Earth Day of Service in Woogi World Weekly. This week’s blog features even more of your amazing service logs!

I served my town by picking up trash and putting it in the trash can. It made me feel good because I know I did something good.

Me and my friends went up to the principal and asked him if the school could go plant some trees during lunch and he said “yes.” I felt really good because we really helped the environment by planting those trees!

I kept the earth good by cleaning up bottles and cans and all kind of stuff. It made me feel tired, but I kept on working.

I served my planet and picked up 11 pieces of trash. I think that everyone should pick up trash where they live to make this planet green and going again!

I planted trees in my park and flowers in the park. It made me feel like I really helped the Earth!

I spent a lot of time recycling bottles and other stuff like that and I’m glad we can use it again and not waste money. I think Earth Day is one of the most important holidays. Every day should be Earth Day!

Every year in Cub Scouts we go to the town park and we pick up all the trash that people throw on the ground. When we do that every year it makes me feel good and also makes the Earth cleaner.

I used paper that was already used to do an activity for fun. I also recycled the rubbish into the correct container. It made me feel very happy.

Today I picked up litter left outside of our school. All my friends did it for Earth Day. I would do it again... ALWAYS! Everyone should give back to their community. Doing it with friends makes it a LOT easier. So grab a partner and make a wave!

I helped the Earth on Earth Day picking up trash on the street and around my house. Also I turned the TV and lights off too. Thanks to Earth Day, it can help me help save the Earth! Even if we just do a few things like saving a little water, it can add up to a whole big change. Happy Earth Day!

My whole class went to the front of my school and weeded all the dandelions there. It felt good! I’m helping the planet. I felt really, really good and I still do!

Today is the second day of the campaign “Let’s Keep Our Land Green.” I went and a group of the campaign cleaned up the beach. I was happy because I was part of those who kept the ground from pollution.

I picked up lots of trash at school while I was walking during breaks. Also when I got home, I helped my mom plant some vegetables... yum! Service made me feel very helpful and happy. It made me glad that people can beautify the Earth!

Today Is Earth Day of Service!

Hi, Earth Agents!

Today, April 22, is Earth Day...

...but on Woogi World, it’s the

Earth Day of Service!

Earth Day of Service is a really cool idea:

If every person in the world does a little act of service to
help the Planet Earth today, then those little acts of
service will add up to one HUGE act of service!

Here’s what I did for my Earth Day of Service:

I watered some flowers to help them grow nice and strong!

Then I went to the Service Nation Station in Woogi World...

...to write a Service Log about my act of service.

The first screen asked me how much time I spent serving.

Then I wrote about my service and how I felt doing it...

... and I ended my service log with a very important comment.

Why is the comment so important?

Because the best service log comments from
Earth Day of Service will be featured in
Woogi World Weekly or on this blog!

If you need some ideas for Earth Day of Service (April 22),
here’s a list of good service activities that you can do today:

Plant a tree
Water plants
Start a fruit or vegetable garden
Recycle your trash
Pick up trash on the ground
Use less water
Use less electricity
Ride a bike (or walk) to school
Clean your yard
Or anything else that will help the environment!

And when you’re all done, don’t forget to visit Woogi World
and write a service log about it in the Service Nation Station:

you live. Decide whether a question is safe or unsafe and
then drag the Woogi to the correct bin. Answer as many
questions as you can before time runs out.

CHAT POLICE

Become a Woogi World enforcer and ban Woogies who aren’t following the five online chat rules: “Be Private,” “Be Secure,”
“Be Respectful,” “Be Nice,” and “Be a Kid, Not an Adult.”

MISSION REWARD

When you complete the Cyber Safety Mission,
you’ll unlock CHAT on Woogi World!

CYBERBULLY AVENGER

Be a part of an interactive comic adventure!
Help CyberHero stop Woogies from becoming cyber-bullies
by deciding whether a Woogi’s choice is good or bad. See
how your online choices can affect others in real life.

MISSION REWARD

When you complete the Cyber Ethics Mission,
you’ll unlock BUDDIES on Woogi World!

COMPU-PROTECT

Pilot Dr. Wiggenstein’s computer ship safely through cyberspace!
Along the way, you will encounter Internet security threats, like viruses and hackers. Use the computer ship’s defensive weapons to stay protected from every kind of attack.

CRASH & TELL

Even with security protection, bad things on the Internet can still get to you, like inappropriate pictures. When you see anything bad, you need to “crash” your computer and tell an adult. Beware of bad things hiding in pictures that look safe.

MISSION REWARD

When you complete the Cyber Security Mission,
you’ll unlock the DIGIWOOG on Woogi World!

TIME MANAGEMENT

Train your Woogi to become a Cyber Hero! As you select daily activities, keep a balance between 4 important categories: Learning, Family, Service, and Play. Don’t forget to balance
