I’m back this week with
another BigWig’s Q&A...
That’s when you ask me a
Question, blog readers...
... and then I give
you the Answer!
This Week’s Question:
Why is the time on Woogi World always
different than the time on my computer?
Woogi World uses Woogi Standard Time (WST)
so that the time is always the same for
everyone, no matter where they live.
Here, let me show you how it works...
Telling Time – The Woogi Way
The bottom of your Woogi World screen always
shows you the current Woogi Standard Time (WST).
A 12-hour clock uses AM and PM to tell the difference between
times in the morning and afternoon, but Woogi Standard Time
uses a 24-hour clock. A 24-hour clock keeps counting until it
reaches 24:00 at midnight, then it restarts again the next day.
If you like to use a 12-hour clock (with AM and PM), then it’s
easy to convert the 24-hour WST clock to a 12-hour clock.
If the WST is less than 12:00, then just add an AM to it.
If the WST is greater than 13:00, then subtract 12 hours
and add a PM to it. That makes 16:25 WST = 4:25 PM!
If WST still doesn’t match the time on your watch, clock, or
computer, then it’s probably because you live in a different time
zone than WST. The Earth has lots of time zones and the time is
different in each one, depending on when it’s daytime there.
This means it can be 12:00 PM in New York, USA, 2:00 AM in
Tokyo, Japan, and 6:00 PM in Woogi World all at the same time!
4:25 PM (WST) – 10:25 AM (Home) = +6 hours
Using the time on your computer, watch, or clock, you can figure
out the difference between your own time zone and WST. Just
subtract your time from WST to figure out the difference.
Here’s an example: If it’s 16:25 WST (4:25 PM) on Woogi World
and 10:25 AM where you live, then 16:25 minus 10:25 equals
6 hours. That means WST is 6 hours ahead of your time zone.
So when it’s 3:00 PM where you live, it’d be 6 hours later on
Woogi World, or 9:00 PM (21:00 WST).
Knowing how to tell the time correctly on Woogi World is really
helpful because you’ll know when to show up for the celebrity
visits, special parties (like next week’s St. Patrick’s Day Party!),
club activities, and other fun stuff with your Woogi buddies!
So, Earth Agents...
- Did this help you to understand Woogi Standard Time better?
Or is Woogi Standard Time still confusing to you?
- Can you figure out WST using your own time zone now?
Write a blog Comment and let’s chat more about WST!
Until next time, Earth Agents!

I don't live in the WST area so it is so hard for me to see the woogi celebrities. WST makes it much easier thanks bigwig for that great idea it does help childern across the globe.
It's for me, a lot of the time, to see the celebrities because WST is totally different from my time zone, but sometimes I can see them anyway!
the celebs come at 0:00 so i can like sometimes see them lol anyways ^^
