Unexpected Delays and Unexpected Visits

Hello there, Earth Agents!

This has been one crazy week here on the Planet Woog!  First, the clothes dryer ate one of my socks… and then burped!  Then I lost my mustache and couldn’t figure out where I put it… until I found it still attached to my face!  And just today I received a visit from Dr. Wiggenstein, which is always an unexpected surprise!  

He told me, “BigWig… I have some good news and I have some bad news.  What will it be?”

“Start with the bad news,” I said.  I learned that you should always start with the bad news so that you are happy again when you hear the good news!

 

So Dr. Wiggenstein said, “I need more time on the next invention.”

I was worried.  This meant that the new invention wouldn’t be ready in time for February like I had promised.  “So what’s the good news?” I asked.

 

“The good news,” Dr. Wiggenstein said, “is that I just thought up a way to make the device even better!!  These changes will take me one more week, but I think it is for the best!”

“Why is it for the best?” I asked him.

“Because right now it explodes when you turn it on!!” Dr. Wiggenstein exclaimed.

 

Then Weegor walked in.  His face was covered in black soot and ashes and he looked a little unhappy.  I guessed that the invention had exploded while Weegor was testing it…

So I decided to let Dr. Wiggenstein have an extra week to make his new invention even better.  He promises that this time it will work!  And if it does half the things that Dr. Wiggenstein says it will, I think all of you will really like the surprise he has planned for you!

Speaking of surprises, have you read about the Mystery Celebrity visits in Woogi World Weekly?  Well, this Saturday, another Mystery Celebrity is going to be visiting Woogi World!  
 

A Mystery Celebrity can be anyone really!  It could be me or YY or Wanda Wiggs.  Sometimes it can even be someone new, like when Wally Woog first arrived, but that doesn’t happen very often.

Who do you think the Mystery Celebrity will be this week?  It’s always fun to make guesses with your buddies each week and then see who was right.  You could even turn it into a game!  Then after you visit with the Mystery Celebrity, you could all go get ice cream or something… Yum!!

Lights, CAMERAS, Action!

Hello, Earth Agents!

Ever since I talked about the Woogi World cameras at the end of January, I’ve received a lot of questions about them.  Questions like:

- When do I get the camera?

- Will I get a camera even if I’m not a Woogi Honors member?

This week’s issue of Woogi World Weekly has already answered a lot of those questions, but I wanted to give you some extra information about the cameras.

Woogi Honors members have done a great job testing the new cameras.  Now the cameras are ready to be used by ALL Woogies on Woogi World!  It doesn’t matter if you have Woogi Honors or not.

When you log on to Woogi World on FRIDAY, you will see this new Camera tab on the left side of your screen.  When you click on it, it’ll take a picture of whatever is on your Woogi World screen.

Your camera’s viewfinder looks like this:

You will get to see the photo that you took and then you have three options on the right side of the camera.  They are Save, Print, and Trash:

SAVE will save your photo on Woogi World.  It’s not working right now, but Dr. Wiggenstein says it will be ready soon!

PRINT will print your photo to your home printer so that you can share it with your friends and your family.

TRASH will delete the photo that you took and then close your camera.

 

Those are some real cool features, huh?  If you want more information about using the camera, then you should read the new “Camera” section that Wally Woog just added to the Woogipedia.  You can find it in the “Other Stuff” category.  It’s right below his BigWig’s Blog entry!

This Just In: We LOVE to Party!!!

Hi, Earth Agents!

Were you as excited as me yesterday morning?  Imagine my surprise when I woke up and found that my old Mission HQ building was gone and in its place was the News Stand!

This new building must be what Wally Woog was keeping a secret!

 

So I decided to step inside the News Stand for a visit and guess who was working the counter… Wally Woog!!  He laughed when he saw me (I was still wearing my pajamas with all the Xoogies on them!) and then he invited me to take a look at the new Woogi World newspaper.

The new Woogi World newspaper is called Woogi World Weekly and it has lots of neat stuff in it.  While I liked Wally’s article on how to write your own newspaper, I was really excited about the Valentine’s Day Party that I saw on the front cover:

The Valentine’s Day Party is going to be THIS SATURDAY!!  In the morning there is going to be a visit from YY and Wally Woog to help celebrate the holiday!  And maybe I’ll drop by to share in the fun too!!

Here is the time for the celebrity visits that I read in the newspaper:

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2009
11:00 am – 12:30 pm (Eastern time)

But even if you can’t make it for the celebrity visits, you should still  come to Woogi World on Saturday because the Wishing Well is going to be giving out a Special Valentine’s Day coupon!!  I know this because I read it in the newspaper too!

Wally Woog's Secret Project

Hi there, Earth Agents!

I really enjoyed reading your guesses for all the new things coming to Woogi World in February.

 

Lots of you were right too!  This week the Valentine Factory appeared in Woogi World.  Have you been able to use it yet?

We all hope that nothing bad happens to it this year.  Just to be safe, we're keeping Weegor at a distance!

But this week I'd like to talk to you about Wally Woog and his top-secret project.  I asked Wally this week what he was doing and he just looked at me and said, "Ha!  It's a surprise, boss!" 

While I normally like to know everything that happens on the Planet Woog, I trust Wally one hundred percent.  His project must be so important that he can't share information with anybody!

But he did tell me this:
"Expect BIG changes in Woogi World on Wednesday!"

Wally Woog's cryptic message seems to match one of my own Woogi spy photos (see it above).  They both talk about Wednesday as being important.  So what do you think Wally Woog plans for Wednesday?
