Merry Christmas, Earth Agents!

My message to you this week will be brief because TODAY is a very special day...  It's so special that I'm even taking a day off from running the Planet Woog to spend some time with my family! 

You know, it's always good to take a break once in a while to remember what's really important.  And nothing is more important to me than my family.  Yes, they are even more important than ruling an entire planet!

Of course, Woogi World won't close for the day just because I'm not around...  On the contrary, if you have time to visit Woogi World on Christmas Day, I believe we've got a present waiting for you!

So wherever you're spending the holidays - whether you are with your family or away from home - remember that today is one of the best days of the year.  It's a day to be happy and nice and to let people know how important they are to you.

Well, I've got to run now... or I might miss out on that delicious woognut stuffing I smell!  Yum!  But before I go, I'd just like to say ...

It's a Weegor-ful Life!

Hi Earth Agents!

Even though the first day of Winter is supposed to be Sunday, it seems like Winter's already here in Woogi World! 

By now you've probably heard about poor Dr. Wiggenstein and how he got snowed in - inside his own lab!  He was a little grumpy when he finally escaped on Monday, but he was mostly just cold after tunneling through all that snow!

The GOOD NEWS is that the club membership upgrades are now available!  These club upgrades not only let you earn a black belt in the clubs, but you can get other cool stuff too - like actual books sent to you in the mail, or a jukebox for your Wigwam that plays music!

To upgrade, just click on the Membership device inside the Music or Woogi Readers Club and choose to "Upgrade Membership."  Make sure to have a parent nearby to help you with this!

Now for the BAD NEWS...

Remember that Christmas story about Weegor that I promised would be coming soon?  The bad news is that it's still not ready, so you'll have to wait a little longer.

But the GREAT NEWS is that the story will be available to read on Friday!  Yes, tomorrow!  Here's even a little sneak peek at the book's cover to get you excited:

One of the benefits of ruling a planet is that I already got to read "Weegor's Christmas Eve" and I think that it's one of the best Woogi stories that I've ever read!  It's got a little bit of everything in it: adventure, humor, sadness, woognut stuffing...

I can't wait until tomorrow when it appears in the Woogi Readers Club!  Then I can play the Chapter Challenge game and add some really cool stickers to my Sticker Album.  Maybe I'll even create my own Woogi World comic with them using the club's Comic Creator!

Club Upgrades Have Arrived!

Hello Earth Agents!

If you couldn't make it on Saturday, I'd like to take a moment to introduce you to Woogi World's newest celebrity: Wally Woog!

Wally Woog is a famous Woogi author that is recently starting to direct movies too.  Nowadays, a lot of his writing and movies are made specifically for Woogi World's newest item:

The Woogipedia is a book that will help answer the questions that you have in Woogi World.  It's not finished yet, but Wally Woog will be constantly updating it as new things are added to Woogi World.  He promises to add lots of movies and pictures too!  "Anything to help you out" he says.

Other Woogi celebrities want to help you too.  Check out what's coming this weekend to YY's Music Club:

You will now be able to UPGRADE your Music Club membership!  This means that you can finally attain that coveted Black Belt that you've always wanted! 

 

YY wants to make sure that you not only have fun playing games in the Music Club, but that you learn to play a real instrument too!  To do this, he found an instrument called a melodica that you can buy when you upgrade your Music Club membership.  This is what a melodica looks like:

 

It looks like a small piano, huh?  YY and his friend, Ben, are going to give you sheet music so that you can play songs with them on the melodica.  And they've already started making movies with the new instrument too!

Palace is also doing her part to help you out.  As a book bounty hunter, she's not exactly skilled with a melodica, but she is a great reader!  That's why she's offering an UPGRADE for the Woogi Readers Club starting this weekend!

With an upgraded Woogi Readers Club membership, you get to choose a new book each month and have the book delivered to you at school.  Maybe you've already seen some of the books that you can choose from.  Books like The White Giraffe and The Mouse and the Motorcycle!  Each book that you receive will give you exclusive access to the book's Chapter Challenge activities, where you can earn more stickers and progress towards your Woogi Readers Club Black Belt!

Palace is also going to introduce you to two of her human friends soon, Alice and Patty.  Alice and Patty will be featured in movies in the Woogi Readers Club that will teach you about reading and how it can be fun!

UPDATE: It appears that the club upgrades will be delayed until Monday due to unfortunate circumstances...  Dr. Wiggenstein was just about to walk to the clubs and turn on the upgrades when he got snowed in!  This might sound weird because there's no snow in Woogi World, so how could something like this happen?  Well, it turns out that he got snowed in - from the inside!  Weegor accidentally turned on Dr. Wiggenstein's snow-making machine, thinking it was a snow cone-making machine, and turned the entire laboratory into a giant ice cavern!  The doctor said that he and his icepick should be able to tunnel out by Monday and can turn on the club upgrades then.  Both he and Weegor are very sorry to make you wait, but they promise it'll be worth it!

I hope you are all still enjoying the free Woogi Honors!  From what I've seen, I think it's been real awesome so far.  In fact, there are so many Xoogies being walked around Woogi World now that I've had to start watching where I step!

Now it's hard to top something as cool as free Woogi Honors... but here in Woogi World, we're going to try!  And this is how:

"What's so mysterious?" you might ask... Well, let me tell you.

First off, there's going to be something in Woogi World that's COMPLETELY NEW!  Not only that, but it's going to be something that's always changing and having new things added to it too!

But wait!  There's more!  On top of that, Woogi World is pleased to announce that a MYSTERY CELEBRITY will be visiting this Saturday.  It could be someone new, or someone that you all know and love, but you'll have to show up on Saturday to find out who it is!

The Woogi Honors Free-For-All!

Hello again Earth Agents!

It's here! FREE WOOGI HONORS for everybody!!

It's just our way of saying thanks to all of you who have supported Woogi World during the 2 years that we've been online.  And from all the comments that I got during the last week, I can tell that you're as excited about it as I am!

Now you'll get to experience some of the cool benefits that Woogi Honors has to offer: more Wigwam floors, Xoogi pets, sending Bulletin Board messages, more storage for your items... the list seems never-ending!

There are a few things to keep in mind, however:

1. Only Woogies created BEFORE Wednesday can sign up for this.
2. You need to sign up BEFORE the end of the day on Friday!
3. Your free Woogi Honors will only last for 30 DAYS after you sign up.  After that, you'll become a regular Woogi again unless you buy Woogi Honors.

Now I'm sure you have a lot of questions, so allow me to answer the "biggies" for you:

How do I sign up for free Woogi Honors?
Just click on the new floating billboard that's next to the Woogi Readers Club to sign up!

What happens after the 30 days are over?
You'll get to keep most of your stuff, like your Wigwam floors, but certain privileges, like taking your Xoogi outside, will require buying Woogi Honors.

Why does Woogi Honors cost money?
A lot of Woogies have put a lot of hard work into making Woogi World a really cool place to hang out.  So when you buy Woogi Honors, you help these Woogies to keep making new and exciting things for Woogi World.  (They also have a lot of little Woogi mouths to feed!)

Can you make Woogi Honors cheaper for me, BigWig?
I sure can!  If you decide to buy Woogi Honors during the next 30 days, it'll cost you 20% less than it normally would.  Isn't that neat?

What about us kids that already have Woogi Honors?
No need to worry, Earth Agents.  If you're already a Woogi Honors member, there's a bunch of new things coming soon that you'll get to have first.  Check your Bulletin Board messages for all the info!

What new things are coming for Woogi Honors members?
I wish I could tell you about ALL the new things coming for Woogi Honors members, but Dr. Wiggenstein has made me take the "Vow of Ultimate Secrecy," so I can't.  There is one NEW thing I can tell you about though:

NEW WIGWAM BACKGROUNDS HAVE ARRIVED!

Starting today, anybody that is a Woogi Honors member (including those that sign up for the free 30 days) can use their watts to buy custom backgrounds for their Wigwam basements!

And that's only half of them!  Basements are going to be a great place to show items off to your friends and have your own parties.  For you creative types, maybe you could even theme your basement so that your walls match the furniture in the room!  I can't wait to see what great ideas you come up with!

How About a Nice Cup of Tea?

Hi there, Earth Agents!

I hope you've all enjoyed the Woogi Readers Club so far!  Palace told me that she had a real great time meeting everybody last Friday, but running a club is a lot more work than she thought it would be...

But thanks to her dedication, a lot of new things have already been added to the Readers Club this week.  There's the new Grammar Crammer game, which I've had a lot of fun playing!  There's also the new Reading Station in the Rikki-Tikki-Tavi room.  Now you can read (and print!) the story of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi before you play its Chapter Challenge.  Reading the story will help you get 100% on the game, which is important if you want to add those stickers to the Sticker Album you got when you joined the club! 

So why are stickers important?  You'll soon see... My sources tell me that even more changes will be coming to the Woogi Readers Club within the next week or two - and one of them makes collecting stickers something that you'll really want to do!  Be sure to keep your eyes open for these exciting additions!

Time-Out for Tea-Time

And now for the story that so many of you wanted to hear.  Thanks for all your comments!  This the story of how a cup of tea (and a little quick-thinking) saved the Woogi Readers Club:

Recently I sent Palace on a top-secret mission to seek out the galaxy's best books and return them to the Planet Woog.  However, even the best missions can run into problems sometimes.  Palace was on her way back to us when her ship, the WSS Shakespeare, was overtaken by a band of ruthless space pirates!  They boarded the Shakespeare and demanded to see its cargo. 

Worried that the books she had collected would end up in the wrong hands, Palace invited the space pirates to a nice cup of tea.  Since they were quite tired from all their plundering, they gladly accepted her offer. 

So while the space pirates were enjoying their hot drink, Palace quickly encrypted each of the books into the ship's Holo-Library.  By the time the space pirates had finished their tea, she was done. Oh boy, were those pirates upset to find out that the ship was missing all its cargo!  Because what can a space pirate do if there's nothing to steal?  Before leaving, the space pirates warned Palace to watch her back... and then kindly thanked her for the cup of tea. 

Since she's returned to Woogi World, Palace has been hard at work decrypting all the books stored in the Holo-Library so that she can share them with the members of the Woogi Readers Club.  It's slow work, but it just means that the Readers Club will continue to grow and grow for many years to come!  All I can say is... Thank goodness for Palace's quick thinking - and that she had enough tea!

Beam Me Up... a Good Book!

Hello Earth Agents,

Let's start this week's blog with the question on everyone's mind: Where's Captain Kexx?  Many of you came to the Woogi Readers Club Open House last Friday expecting to meet him, but he wasn't there.  Sure, we had a great time anyway, but I can understand why some of you may have been disappointed.  Well, here's what happened:

Late last week (after I wrote the blog), some of our intergalactic spies reported seeing strange objects orbiting above the Planet Wigg (our old home planet).  This certainly came as a surprise to all of us and we worried that Count Weevil was up to his old tricks again.  After giving it a lot of thought, we decided to call Captain Kexx back to active duty.  He is one of our best fighters and is now stationed above the Planet Wigg, defending it against the threat of attack.  By the time many of you arrived for the Open House on Friday, he had already left for this new mission.  We wish him all the best!

Unfortunately, this left us with a small problem...

Who's the Leader of the Woogi Readers Club?

As luck would have it, one of my old friends had just returned from a top secret mission and was able to fill the opening left by Captain Kexx.  Many of you have already met her and I can't think of a better choice for the job.

Her name is Palace and she is a book bounty hunter.  Normally bounty hunters try to catch criminals, but Palace searches the galaxy to find the best books instead.  She says the job is just her cup of tea. 

And speaking of that, perhaps I'll tell you the story about how a cup of tea saved the Woogi Readers Club.  Of course, I'll only tell the story if enough of you want to hear it.  So if you do, be sure to let me know in the comments section!

Woogi Readers Club Opening on Friday!

Now for something real BIG!  Be sure to mark your calendars, Earth Agents.  The Woogi Readers Club opens this Friday and you'll want to be there for the grand opening:

After the After-Election Party

Hi there, Earth Agents!

Still wondering what that fuzzy TV image from last week was?  It was Dr. Wiggenstein speaking on the new Woogi World Stadium stage.  You can even see his big head on the Woogi-Tron screen, just like you saw me at the After-Election Party:

I really had a great time hosting the event and I hope you had a good time too while playing the games and watching the election results! 

At the end, your choice for the next U.S. President was revealed to be Barack Obama... just like in real-life!  Congratulations on exercising your Woogi World right to vote!  You did an excellent job supporting your candidates.

So Where Are My Prizes?

Now some of you have been wondering how to get the prizes that you won at the party.  Watts have already been awarded to everybody who earned enough Stadium Points.  Check your wallets!

The real-life Sony prizes are still on the way and an email will be sent very soon to all the winners.  These emails will be sent to the email address that your parent or guardian used when they signed you up for Woogi World, so nicely ask them to look for it for you (even in the Spam folder, just in case it accidentally ended up there).

So what will happen to the Voting Booth now that the election is over?  Good news!  The Voting Booth is here to stay!  Look for a new poll every day.

Not only that, but the Woogi World Stadium will return in the future to host more special events and parties!

Another Month, Another New Building...

Woogi World will be seeing even more new changes this week when we expand our borders!  That's right... new parts of the map will be opening up and they'll include a NEW CLUB BUILDING!

Curious about the new club building?  Then you should come to the OPEN HOUSE that Woogi World will be having for it on FRIDAY NIGHT!

Even though the club won't officially be open yet, you'll still get to explore all the rooms in the new building and even meet a new celebrity, Captain Kexx, who will be there to introduce himself!

Are You Ready to Party?!

Hello again, Earth Agents!

It was wonderful to see so many of you at the USANA Movie Premiere Weekend!  The 3 new movies are a lot of fun to watch and lots of Woogies got into the spirit of things by wearing the special USANA Mega Hat that Wiggiwalker and Weegor were giving out.  As you can see in the photo, everyone was really excited to be there for the opening:

But there's even MORE excitement to be had this week!  Can you believe that in less than a week we'll know who the next President of the United States will be?  That's a real big deal... even for us Woogies on Planet Woog!!

That's why I'd like to encourage all of you to make your vote count in this election.  Visit the Every Kid Votes booth before Monday, November 3 and vote for your favorite Presidential candidate!

Everyone that votes will also receive a FREE HAT once the election has ended!  It's a win-win situation.

After the voting has ended on Monday, November 3, Woogi World and Studies Weekly will be hosting the incredibly amazing, totally rockin', outrageously nifty, super spectacular...

The After-Election Party is going to be the BIGGEST party that Woogi World has ever seen!  And the best part?  I will be speaking at it!  (Don't worry, I promise not to put you to sleep with one of my long speeches!)

There's going to be so much happening at this party - with live election results, all the food you can eat, new games, free prizes, and entertainment - that I don't think you could get bored even if you tried!

Just the other night I was sitting in my Wigwam, ready to watch my favorite television show "I Love Woogi."  As I flipped through the channels, I noticed some odd static on channel 28.  It was almost like there was a picture there in the static.  I couldn't believe it at first, so I rubbed my eyes and pinched myself, but it was still there!  It turned out to be something from the After-Election Party:
